Basic Computer Skills for Teachers

These lessons and resources are designed to help teachers improve their computer skills and ability to communication with students and parents. 1. Using Microsoft Windows

Windows is a software operating system. Windows key features include the desktop, start menu, and icons. Documents are stored in folders. This section will introduce teachers to the basic procedures, tips, and tricks for using Windows effectively on the PPB school network.

2. Using Microsoft Office 2003

Microsoft Office 2003 (Office) is a suite of software used for a variety of applications including: word processing, web browsing, spreadsheet, database, and web design. Office offers a variety of solutions for teachers that need to create and share information.
